Lovin' Life: Sawyer and Camryn Enjoy [Young]Adulthood

 Sawyer and Camryn enjoyed a fun-filled honeymoon in Mt. Koremobi for three days. They spent a lot of time having fun in the rental house, but they managed to get in a day of hiking and some skiing, which Camryn really enjoyed! 

She was surprised she enjoyed it so much because she is not a fan of being active, well at least not outside of the bedroom. Sawyer on the other hand, who is very active, found himself flat on his butt a few times while skiing the bunny and beginner slopes. 

Sawyer got a message on his phone letting him know the household bills were due in full in the next 48 hours or their utilities would be turned off. Sawyer had been stressed about the finances, but he hadn't wanted Camryn to know because he wanted her to enjoy having a honeymoon. Sawyer paid the bills, but between the bills and the rental fee, they were now down to their last $32 simoleons. Camryn knew Sawyer worried about money, so she decided that when they returned home, she would help out by learning programming and hacking into some accounts for extra funds. She was very mischievous, so what better way to help out and have a little fun. Sawyer wasn't happy about it, but the alternative ways were worse in his opinion, so he just agreed to disagree. 

Since they had little money left and a lot of stress, the newlyweds, decided to spend their second day hiking. Camryn led the way as they hiked to the historic shrine and spent a little time there. Next, Camryn took him to see the cave statues that were in the shape of monkeys? Sawyer didn't ask, but he and Camryn did try to make an offering. Unfortunately, it wasn't much so they ended up pretty embarrassed by their offering. 

Hopefully, those monkeys weren't too embarrassed when Sawyer and Camryn couldn't resist being alone in the open with no one around to watch😜. 

Sawyer and Camryn returned home after spending three lovely days in wedded bliss away from the world of responsibility. They were exhausted but invigorated from their time together. Camryn started working on her hacking skills, and while she did that Sawyer begrudgingly repaired the dishwasher that decided to break when he washed a dish. Luckily, the repair was minor, and Sawyer was able to do it without too much swearing. Camryn was dealing with her own frustrations at hacking and questioning if she would be able to do it or not. Who knew hacking was so hard? 

Later that afternoon, Jenna Akiyama and Sage Knight-Lyle, their respective mothers, decided to stop by for a visit. It was sort of a social visit, but after the wedding, the two mothers immediately started talking about babies and tossing out baby names. Sage went so far as to knit baby onesies for her grandchild who wasn't even a thought right now. Sawyer and Camryn just humored them. Yes, they spent a lot of quality time with one another, but a baby was not on either's mind right this second. They needed to become financially stable before adding another mouth to feed into the mix. 

Sawyer, while talking to his mother, noticed that Sage wasn't too fond of her new daughter-in-law, but he wasn't sure why. When he would talk to Sage, he just noticed that she had an angry look on her face when he would talk about Camryn, which was a little odd considering how well she got along with Jenna and the rest of Camryn's family. He let it go for now because his mother could have just been stressed. She had experienced the loss of a friend recently. Maybe it was just her emotions getting the better of her. He would visit her in a few days and find out what was going on. 

The next morning, Otis texted Sawyer wanting to hang out. Sawyer hadn't seen his cousin since before he got engaged to Camryn so he let him know that he was down to hang out after work and that if he wanted Otis could come over for dinner with his siblings so they could all hang out together and watch the new season premiere of the newest show on tv, Game of Llamas. 

I'm not sure what was said but Saywer made a mean comment under his breath to Camryn and now Camryn is always angry with him. He has apologized profusely, but she is still holding a grudge. 

Camryn decided to go a workout one afternoon while Sawyer was at work, which she hates doing, but she wanted to hang out with Sawyer's aunt Brynlee, and the Uha-Knight clan loves fitness. While at the gym, Camryn just gets madder and more annoyed with everything. She ends up meeting and talking to the Gym Mentor for a bit, only to discover she is a drug dealer as well, which explained all the shady individuals she saw in that particular gym. 

Camryn headed home afterward and spent the rest of the night nursing her sore body while ignoring Sawyer. The next morning Sawyer and Camryn got into their first real fight! 

After the fight, things haven't really been the same and they aren't sure how to fix it so they have both agreed that they need some counseling. 

Sawyer would also like to get some counseling with his mother because his relationship with her is very strained. He and Camryn went to her home for dinner the night of the fight and it was awkward to say the least. Camryn spent the time playing with Sawyer's baby sister and Sawyer just avoided his mother like the plague. 

Hopefully, counseling can help fix the communication problems before the newlyweds end up in divorce court. 

Sawyer decided to take Camryn out for a fun day at the beach since he needed to finish up a task for work. He and Camryn had a long talk and were able to work out their issues for now on their own. Around noon they headed back to Willow Creek to have Sunday Dinner with Paka and the family, including the Akiyama Clan. 

Camryn enjoys talking to everyone and being part of a large family because her family is pretty small. Her brother Taku seems to have taken a liking to her cousin-in-law, Otis Colgate. 

A few days later Camryn was feeling horrible. She visited the doctor and found that she was suffering from Malaria! Malaria is a fatal disease that can be treated with anti-Malaria pills, but it cannot be cured. She spends a lot of time in bed due to muscle aches and pain. 

After about a sim week, Camryn was feeling a lot better and is now able to function more normally. She has her meds if she needs them, but so far so good. She also found out she suffered from Anemia and now takes an iron supplement as well as an adult multivitamin every day to ensure her body gets what it needs. 

Sawyer's job as a Land Surveyor is in jeopardy as his work performance has been fairly poor (which seems to happen if I have him just go to work instead of selecting the work from home option). He's a bit depressed but also knows that with Camryn helping him financially that he can quit and do something else. 

Sawyer and Camryn now have a nice garden outside where they can have fresh fruits and veggies. Camryn loves her new greenhouse, even though it's small, she loves having one and keeps her essential plants in there so she can enjoy them year-round.

Camryn is also excited because she believes she may be pregnant. She hasn't told Sawyer yet, wanting to surprise him. 

Sawyer is not happy about the pregnancy. Camryn tries to help calm his fear by taking him to an Early Parenthood class, which Sawyer is receptive to but he is still unsure about the pregnancy. Hopefully, with time, he can accept that he and Camryn will be parents. 

Camryn would like to tell the entire family the news, but she wants Sawyer to be good with it before she announces it to everyone. 

It just took another day, and Early Parenthood class, before Sawyer accepted the fact that Camryn and he would become parents. 

He invited their family over to share the big news and everyone was very excited for them!
