New Year, New Life!

When I do post on here I will mostly be posting about Sage because I play with her now since she is Legacy Heir and Paka doesn't really have much going on besides enjoying the elderly life. His youngest,  with his second wife,  Brynlee, is still at home but she's a teenager and too cool for her dad right now. She actually spends a lot of time at Sage's house when she's not at home and enjoys spending time with her nephew, Sawyer. 

Christmas was a fun day where the entire family gathered at the Knight-Uha Residence in Willow Creek. Everyone was super excited as the grandchildren finally got to meet each other. Gia was also due to deliver two more grandchildren any day so Christmas was especially happy for Paka. Paka enjoys his girls and though he doesn't much like Gia's husband, he managed not to argue with him that day choosing to focus more of his attention on his grandsons Sawyer and Marquise. As the party wound down Sage had a surprise for everyone and announced that she too was expecting again! She and Channing had been trying for a few months and were elated when they found out. 

A week later, it was New Year's Eve and Sage was in her final trimester (I use mods and my pregnancies are 9 days long instead of 3). She and Channing had gone for an ultrasound a few days earlier and found out they were expecting a baby boy. Sawyer wanted to go and hang out with some friends and his cousin, Marquise, so Sage let him go play soccer in Windenburg since Paka was going too. Not much was going on for New Year's Eve at the Uha-Lyle house since Sage was pretty tired for most of the day. Channing did some work outside in their garden and upgraded an appliance. When Sawyer got home around 6pm he told Channing all about his day out. That night the family got together to watch the countdown into the new year. After midnight everyone was tired and decided to go to bed. Channing tucked in Sawyer while Sage went straight to bed. She had been having horrible back pain all day and she was only comfortable in her bed. 

The next morning, Channing and Sawyer were up first and let Sage sleep for a bit longer. Sawyer practiced his soccer ball juggling while Channing ate breakfast. Sage emerged from upstairs and walked over to get a plate of food for breakfast. Just as she picked up her plate her water broke! She sat down and breathed through a contraction while Channing cleaned the floor. He always worried when Sage was in pain, but he managed to not freak out. The next eight hours were filled with anticipation as Sage decided to give birth at home this time. Later that night, around 8 or 9PM, Sage and Channing welcomed Talon Uha-Lyle. He is a beautiful baby boy who already has mom wrapped around his little finger. 

Two years later....

Channing passed away peacefully in his sleep and Sage was left with their two young boys. Talon being a toddler was too small to really understand everything, but he knew his mommy was very sad and crying a lot. It was because of this that Paka stepped in and helped his daughter by taking Talon off her hands for a bit, while Sawyer who was just shy of being a teen was able to help his mother around the house more. Sage spent a few weeks depressed and sad, but she gradually started feeling better and started hanging out with her friends and family more to help ease her sadness. She was very grateful to them for their understanding and in no time both Sawyer and Talon grew up. Sawyer is the spitting image of his father and Talon takes after Sage, but he never moved back home and instead lives with his grandfather. (Talon lives with Paka because of a glitch in a mod I use, so I just decided to roll with it since he is not the heir anyway).  Paka and Talon grew very close and after  Brynlee gave birth to her son, Talon was a welcome playmate for his young cousin as they grew up together. Paka still visits his daughter three days out of the week and Sage visits him and Talon too! Talon doesn't miss his mom since he sees and talks to her [and his big bro] whenever he wants. 

Sage [and a reluctant Sawyer] decided to try farming with chickens which Sawyer liked for about five minutes. He mostly leaves it to his mother, but they are both pretty much done with chickens now as the wonder of it has now started to wear with Sage. She instead has started dating again and is madly in love with Stephen Flex, but there is just one problem - he's married. She and Stephen have been in love with one another since they were teens, but Sage went away to school while Stephen moved away to San Myshuno and she ended up meeting Channing. She doesn't regret her relationship with Channing, after all, she has two beautiful sons, but now she is not going to lose Stephen again. His wife, Paisley, knows about their affair after they were caught in a compromising position. Stephen wants a divorce, but Paisley won't grant him one. Meanwhile, Sawyer has met a love interest of his own, Camryn Akiyama who lives in Mt. Komorebi. 

He met Camryn while at the Fenchwick Fair and the pair became an item after a couple of dates. Camryn and Sawyer are both very into recycling and eco-conscious. Camryn and Sawyer won't admit it, but it was love at first sight for both of them. Sawyer actually had a crush he was talking to who lives down the street from him, but since meeting Camryn, he forgot all about her. Camryn's family are also very taken with Sawyer and how well he just fits into their family. Sawyer and Camryn, unbeknownst to their families, have even started talking about their wedding. They are both wanting to attend school, but Sawyer more so than Camryn. Camryn thinks she may want to blog as Sawyer is planning what he'd like to do career-wise.  Their teenage years are coming to an end soon, so Sawyer needs to get his college applications done.
