When Sawyer Meets World?

Sawyer is not a fan of his mother and Stephen's relationship at all. He wants his mother to be happy, but Stephen is married and Sawyer believes that if Stephen really loved his mother, he'd leave his wife. He also feels that they had their chance to be together before either was ever married to others and that they should let each other go until both are single again. He was even more upset when he found out his mother was pregnant again, especially since Talon no longer lives at home and he is planning to go away to college soon. Camryn told him to just let it go and let the adults live their lives. This led to the pair having a deep discussion about their own relationship and what they wanted. They know they are young, but they feel that they are IT for one another.

Sawyer counted down the days until he graduated high school. Even Camryn commented on how excited he seemed to be to enter university. Sawyer had decided not to follow in his mother and grandmother's footsteps and go to Britechester University, but after thinking more about it he decided to attend Foxbury Institute. The college applications process had been grueling, but all of Sawyer's hard work paid off the moment he got the acceptance letter! He wanted to do something special so he decided to organize a camping trip for him and Camryn.

Sawyer's birthday was right before his high school graduation and he had a blast with his family and friends! His party was hosted at his grandfather's home in Willow Springs since he has a huge house complete with a grill and pool. Sage made Sawyer two birthday cakes, a Honey Cake for the party, and a Sugar-Free Carob Cake for his actual birthday to be enjoyed at home. Sawyer was still a bit upset with his mother and her choices, but he managed to put it aside so they could enjoy one last birthday together before he left home. He had already spoken to Sage about his future plans for himself and Camryn. It was one of the reasons that he made sure to invite her parents, older brother, and niece to his birthday party.

Sawyer invited Camryn and his cousins Marquise, Otis and Otis's twin sister (his Aunt Gia's oldest three children)  to a cabin at Granite Falls for some fun, but he really wanted his cousin Marquise there for backup. A few weeks ago Sawyer visited the Akiyama home and spoke to Camryn's father to ask him for his daughter's hand in marriage. Her father was overjoyed and hugged Sawyer while giving him his blessings. Camryn's whole family loved Sawyer and already thought of him as part of their family, but it was amazing to have Sawyer officially ask to become part of it.

To celebrate Night on the Town, Sawyer took Camryn to a lovely Asian restaurant in Newcrest, and instead of heading home, since it was Friday, he drove them straight to the cabin. His cousins were already there to welcome them. Once introductions were made everyone went off to do their own thing. Camryn and Sawyer spent an awesome night together and before drifting off to sleep Sawyer decided that the next morning he would ask her while they were hiking.

Apparently, there is just no good time to propose as Sawyer's plans were again ruined and he ended up proposing to Camryn inside the cabin in the least romantic way possible, her response...

YES!!!!!!!!

Camryn could care less about where Sawyer asked, she just wanted to marry him. This was also something Sawyer loved about Camryn because other girls would have wanted candlelight, a romantic dinner, and just a lot more. Camryn didn't need all of that because, in the long run, it made for great memories, but it wasn't important. They spent their last few hours over the moon talking to Saywer's cousins about the engagement and thinking about wedding plans before returning back to that harsh reality known as life. It wasn't really that harsh, but they had decided that it would be good for Sawyer to finish school before getting married. The last thing Camryn wanted to do was get in the way of his education. She knew how important it was to him and his mother that he finish school.

After a few more days at home, Sawyer said goodbye to his mother and baby-sister before officially heading off to university. He was so excited to be out on his own and living with total strangers. He spent most of his life around his family so it was thrilling to be able to really be on his own with no mom, no siblings, no aunts and uncles, no grandfather, and no nosey cousins!

Sawyer met his first two roommates, Raheem Hwang and Michiko Kobayashi as soon as he walked in the door. He learned Raheem was majoring in Drama, which was very fitting because he could see Raheem had a lot of personalities. Next, he met Lanuola Paoa who was majoring in Villainy. He knew if Camryn got to meet her, she'd be best friends in no time because she was also interested in the villainy. Sawyer ran out to grab some essentials like a laptop, bicycle, and other essentials only to find his grandfather standing in his dorm entry when he returned. He was happy to see his grandfather, but also a little embarrassed because he felt like a kid. No sooner did his grandfather leave than his mother showed up! He politely chased her out and went to study after meeting a few more people. He wanted to get a little studying in before his soccer practice started. Soccer was huge in the Uha Family and Sawyer was good, so good he had a scholarship because of it!

Sawyer's first day of class was a huge reality check! He was barely rested after staying up all night in the dorm, he was starving, he didn't have his homework done and he'd only read part of the assignment for one of the two classes he had that day. Sawyer got back to the dorm later that afternoon wondering what the hell he'd gotten himself into. University didn't look this hard on tv. He just wanted to finish school and graduate. After his first real day of university his father's old friend, Mr. Knox stopped by to check up on him and tell him how proud he knew his dad would be of the man that Sawyer was becoming.

Day two and Sawyer felt much better about his classes. He made sure to study and complete his homework. He also had more time between classes so no need to rush from one side of campus to the other. How more students weren't gold medal Olympians in running, Sawyer wasn't sure because the tiny amount of time between classes some of the freshmen had was just unreal. Sawyer decided to spend his break time out in the quad and grabbed a quick meal while enjoying some fresh air while studying for his next class.

Weeks pass and Sawyer is barely able to get enough sleep to function. He is getting homework done between classes and either going to bed really late or waking up really early to study. He has also made a new friend, Helen, who lives in the dorm. Helen tried to flirt with Sawyer immediately upon meeting him because she really likes him. Sawyer on the other hand finds her attractive too, but he's taken. Helen doesn't seem to care though and she keeps making advances and flirting with him.

The final weekend of the term was coming and Sawyer was struggling with his classes so badly that he decided to skip his classes and his soccer practice on Friday. He used the day to catch up on sleep and study for the upcoming finals. Saturday the roommates all decided to continue Spirit Day in their dorm with some spirits of their own.

Decisions were made....
