Golden Years...

 Its been forever since I've updated on this family and that's in large part because its difficult to really play enough every week to have enough for a substantial update. So, I believe the last update I did was on this family at Thanksgiving and Paka had found a new love interest in a neighbor named, Dawn. 

Paka and Dawn hit it off immediately and their relationship moved very quickly. Paka dated Dawn quietly for a few weeks and then introduced her to his daughters. Both Sage and her sister, Gia, were thrilled that Paka had found someone new and they both really liked Dawn. The romance was very fast and Paka spent every moment with Dawn so it was not a huge surprise that Dawn became pregnant within a fairly short amount of time. 

After Dawn delivered their daughter, Brynlee, Paka and Dawn married in a quiet ceremony with a few friends and Paka's daughters: Sage (pictured in red on the left) and Gia. 

Sadly, the marriage didn't last long after Dawn had an affair behind Paka's back and became pregnant with a child that was not Paka's. Paka was furious and refused to speak to Dawn. He took full custody of their daughter, Brynlee, because Dawn ended up moving in with her married lover (his wife and Dawn were friends so she never knew anything). It was a few years before Paka would talk to Dawn and now the two are able to co-parent, but Paka's romantic feelings for Dawn are gone and he still thinks about everything sometimes when they meet. Brynlee has grown into a teen now and is very close with big sister Sage. Sage was her mother-figure throughout those formative toddler years, so the two share a very tight bond. Brynlee is the only child living at home with Paka now, so she enjoys the freedom her papa gives her, provided she keeps her grades up in school. 

After graduating, Sage married the head of her N.A.P. when in college, Channing Lyle.

Channing and Sage have a beautiful life together and she loves being a wife and....

mother!! 

Sage is now a mother to a little boy, Sawyer. She is completely in love with her little family and she and Channing are trying for baby no. 2 now that their son is a toddler and his birthday is coming up fast. 

Channing and Sage are both self-employed with Sage knitting and selling her goods on Plopsy. Channing also has a store on Plopsy, but instead of knitting he makes candles. They also both enjoy the outdoors and have a nice garden as well so they can have fresh fruits and veggies all the time. 

As for Sage's younger sister Gia, she actually ended up marrying Sage's ex-boyfriend Tevin Colgate and the pair have three children. Gia got pregnant with their first child while still in high school, and then the second pregnancy was also unexpected but ended up being twins. With three children together Gia and Tevin married more out of obligation. Gia finished high school, barely, but she finished. Unlike Sage, Gia doesn't really enjoy her children. Gia is now a young adult and has a very rocky life in front of her as she navigates a marriage of convenience and three children. Her and Tevin live in his house in Willow Creek just a few houses down from her childhood home. She is also close with Sage and the two speak regularly. Sage gave the two her blessing because she realized that she really wasn't in love with Tevin. He was at one time the love of her life, but after going to school and meeting new people she had out grown him. Gia was attracted to his bad boy ways and she is starting to realize that it doesn't pay for diapers. 

Lastly, Sage and the family gathered at the family home for Thanksgiving again. All these years later, Sage still misses her mother greatly because she would have loved being a grandmother. Sage is a lot like her mother and enjoys life as it comes at her. She looks forward to seeing what else life has in store for her and her family...
