Turn Up, Glow Up!
So sorry that this update is late! I also work a full-time job and with vacations my schedule can change to help cover someone else, so its hard sometimes getting enough time to play. I'm on vacation soon myself so I'll be playing a lot and hopefully get myself ahead enough so I won't have anymore late posts. I am trying really hard to keep this going as its making playing a bit more fun for me. Lastly, I played a bit more than normal because I still needed Sage to have her birthday, so I had to play 4 sim days with her as a child before I could age her up on Friday into a teenager. Gia had a little makeover with her clothing, and after Sage grew into a teen I gave her a bit of a glow up and a new wardrobe. So lets get into the LP!
Sage has finally become a teenager! She officially celebrated her birthday with her family afterschool Friday and she grew up to be a very pretty teen. Paka and Chantel couldn't be more proud of her as she is becoming a young woman now. For her gift, her parents upgraded her room as well as gifted her some new sewing supplies so she can open her own Plopsy store. Gia loves the room too and keeps going in with her new friend, Carlie Broke, to hang out. Sage doesn't mind, for now, since afterschool she's got Drama Club and doesn't finish until 5PM.
Saturday evening Sage and her friends went to a bowling alley in NewCrest to hang out and invited some other teens from school. They enjoyed just hanging out, playing arcade games, and of course bowling. Sage got a strike on her first try and did a cute little dance to show off.

After the bowling alley the group of teens decided to hit the dance club Narwhal Arms and dance while they hyped up the DJ. Sage and Tevin took a selfie together before hitting the dance floor. Sage really likes Tevin, but he doesn't seem to share those feelings with her. Sage and her best friend, Sharon, danced and somehow seemed to get into a dance battle that Sharon won. Sage had fun though and that's what matters. She and her friends stayed out until around 4AM. Paka told Sage to enjoy herself and that if she needed them to call. He also told her to enjoy the night as he would not impose a curfew for her birthday party, but starting the next day, Sunday, her curfew would be 9PM since she would have school the next day. Sage was just glad Paka let her out of the house alone. He had become a bit more protective of her and after having had the embarassing "woohoo talk" she did not want Paka around her and her crush, Tevin.
Sage's parents have been a nightmare lately as they are both stressed by an unexpected pregnancy. After the miscarriage, Chantel doesn't seem to want the baby and has even brought up the idea of abortion with Paka, who wasn't thrilled at first but has since become happy about it. Paka is doing his best to support Chantel, but she is so depressed [and scared] that he's having a difficult time keeping his own spirits up. Its also affecting their marriage and no amount of counseling seems to be helping. The further into her pregnancy, the more terrified Chantel seems to become. Right now, all any of them can do is remain positive and hope for a safe delivery of the baby.
Meanwhile, Sage went to hang out at the Walsh residence for a few hours one night and made friends with Bill's sister, Brandy. They were having a great time just hanging out talking girl-talk when all of a sudden the kitchen stove was on fire! Everyone rushed to the apartment's kitchen, Darling didn't even have time to finish changing, and watched in horror as the flames spread quickly throughout the kitchen. Luckily, a quick thinking neighbor called the fire department and they put the fire out before anymore damage could be done. The stove and one cabinet were a total loss, but it could have been much worse.
After school the next day Sage invited her friend Scott Bahama over and Sharon showed up too a little later. They started doing homework, well Sage did, but then she got a text from Tevin to meet up at McDonald's and she was hungry so she decided to accept the invite. She and Tevin had a nice time while out and Sage discovered that Tevin was attracted to her and the two flirted for much of their date. Sage got home a little after her curfew, like 12AM, and Paka was waiting. He was less than thrilled that she had stayed out so late. He sent her to bed because it was very late and she had school the next day, but he did have a talk with her the next morning. He's not a fan of Tevin's and doesn't want Sage hanging out with him. Sage pleaded with Paka to not judge so quickly, but Paka isn't budging. He doesn't want Tevin around his daughter!
